The German AWAS is a medium sized companies group with its head quarter in Wilnsdorf and 7 companies in Germany, as well as sister companies in Switzerland, Poland, Rumania, Russia and Ukraine.
AWAS has been specialising in manufacturing waste water treatment plants and wash water recycling systems for almost 30 years.
Our company’s philosophy “for the sake of our nature” engages us to constantly research, develop and manufacture innovative products of latest state of the art technology. Unique design and process features, which are partially patented, result in technical and economical advantages from which customers and nature will be benefiting.
Therefore we work together with institutes, e.g. Fraunhofer-Institut, Hans-Sauer-Foundation and independent laboratories.

08.03.2012: AWAS received an order from Global Pipe Company, Saudi Arabia for a waste water treatment and sludge dewatering system for the rinse water from steel pipe production.
The wash solution contains degreasing agents with potassium hydroxide, potassium metaborate and phosphate. Metals, oil and grease must be removed to local limits.
08.01.2012: Boliden Aitik Mine/Sweden ordered already the 3rd emulsion splitting and flotation plant from AWAS
Application: treatment of wash water from truck and wheel loader wash. Strong emulsions, created by micro emulsions and solvents, must be cracked. The created oil sludge and heavy metals must be removed from the water.
29.10.2011: Wastewater treatment plant for pipe mill
A manufacturer of steel pipes ordered from AWAS a waste water treatment plant to clean expander oil emulsion and recycle the purified water.
In addition AWAS was entrusted to supply and install high pressure pumps for the pipe rinse and other pumps including the water and waste water management.
16.06.2010: Emulsion splitting and flotation plant for disposal company / Sweden
Sita Oil Sweden, a service company who disposes oil separator contents from petrol stations, steel industry and refineries ordered an oil separator AWAS Galaxie 2002 and an emulsion splitting and flotation plant ADF-I 5000 to clean the collected waste waters.
02.04.2010: 9 huge oil separators for the New Int. Airport Muscat / Oman
AWAS Bayern was awarded an order for 9 huge oil separators ac. to EN 858 class I with up to 560 l/sec capacity for the New International Airport in Muscat, Oman
16.03.2010: Wastewater treatment plant for power stations manufacturer / Iran
Mapna Turbine Iran, a world wide operating manufacturer of power stations, ordered from AWAS GmbH Bayern an oil separator and a waste water treatment plant to clean the waste waters from the production plant.
The design was based on previous successful tests.
